Different Drum - 1948 Jeepster - No one can ever accuse Ted of having pedestrian tastes. His collection of automotive gas station memorabilia is superb, as is his car club plaque array. So when he decided he wanted a convertible, getting a rare Jeepster had a certain appeal. But it had to be unique. |
Jeepster Keeper - 1949 Jeepster- What is it that makes someone like a certain car? It may be that 'je ne sais quoi' quality, an impossible-to-define emotional attachment. That would be how both Den and Gai would describe their love of their ‘49 Jeepster. Den has owned many cars over the years and knows how to grab a wrench to modify or repair about anything on four wheels. |
Day One - 1950 Jeepster- In the beginning, Don drove a Jeepster. He learned to drive with and took his driving test in a Jeepster. Over the years he has owned five Jeepsters and, in the family tradition, his kids learned to drive in them. In 2000, he bought his current one. This ‘50 Jeepster had some modifications, but looked stock, which Don liked. |

Work Truck- 1951 Willys - When Steve B. found his ‘51 Willys Jeep pickup truck on eBay, he decided to throw in his bid. Steve was needing a truck to use for deliveries for his business and doing them in a classic had appeal. He was the second owner, the original owner having used it as a ranch truck for better than five decades. |
