Holiday Request From Mike H.:
I'm one of the many Club members who met in February and March as the Toy drive/Christmas food committee chaired by Lynne F. Out of those meetings will come several ideas and improvements to make both programs work better and reflect the good will and hard work of all the Roamin Angels.

My focus in these meetings was to propose ways to make the Club's Christmas season efforts more visible to the general public, increase the donations of goods, toys and money to our programs, and to step up the fun meter for the community at Christmas.

So, how about a Christmas Parade?

Plans are underway to stage a parade during Cornish Christmas festivities including some club vehicles and a little mixture of bands, fire trucks, and of course Santa. Details are starting to come together. For instance, the Lyman Gilmore Middle school's 75 strong, lighted marching band is now signed on and I'm waiting confirmation on a number of other fun participants as we speak.

What the club and I need is your help to create a pool of 20-25 committed vehicles. We'll need decorated vehicles to participate in the parade and some of those to participate in a fund raising 'show' during the Cornish Christmas evening. All toll you may be looking at one Friday, November 27th or December 4th , for 3 hours. I will do my best to make sure it doesn't rain on our little parade but... it may.
