The theme this year was Hawaiian Luau and we were so happy to see almost everyone dressed in Hawaiian attire. The group received Hawaiian Leis as they arrived at Kmart for our 1:00 PM departure.

Our first stop was appetizers and our first poker hand at Doug and Rosanne V's lake front home at Lake of the Pines. It was very hot so we all found a tree to sit under to enjoy the wonderful appetizers and beautiful lake view. The lake was so inviting, some of us wished we had brought our swim suits. what a beautiful place!

Our next stop was back up Hwy 49 for salad at Craig and Denise C's. We set up our chairs on their front lawn - it was like being at a park, beautiful and so peaceful. The salads were fantastic (I need those recipes).

At 4:00 PM we were off to eat our main dish at Pat and Dian W's beautiful Smartsville home. On our way to there we lost one car. Dale and Patricia R. had trouble with their brakes and headed for the barn. We had a great time at Pat and Dian's and the food was wonderful.

Our last stop was for dessert and our last two poker hands at Claude and Janet H's Lake Wildwood lake front home. Finally a little cooler as we set up our chairs on their lawn next to the lake. Claude and Janet served ice cream with assorted tropical fruit for our toppings and cookies on the side. Claude gave boat rides for those that wanted a tour of the lake.

We want to thank our Host and Hostess for their hospitality and the delicious food and to everyone that participated to make this fun time happen. We hope to see all of you next time.
