Art Show Application

Purpose:
An invitation to artists to create fine classic car art that reflects the beauty of pre 1972 American made vehicles.
Place: Sugar Pines Building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley, CA. In conjunction with the annual Roamin Angels Cruisinʼ in the Pines Car Show - September 10 & 11, 2011.
Eligibility: All artists must deliver and pick up their artwork. Artists may enter only the pieces listed on the entry form. All art must be for sale.
Rules:All work must be original, produced within the last two years. Artwork must reflect American made automobiles or American made auto parts. Paintings must be dry and suitably framed with wire on the back. Wired ends must be taped. No saw-toothed hangers. Sculpture entries should provide their own stands.

Division One: Fine Art - 1. Pastel 2. Pencil 3. Watercolor 4. Oil/Acrylic 5. Ink/Airbrush 6. Mixed Media 7. Sculpture 8. Glass/Ceramics

Division Two: Photography – 1. Black & White 2. Color 3. Digital/computer enhanced

Awards: Best of Show, 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and People's Choice. In each division.

Entry fees: $10.00 fee per entry. Artists may submit up to three entries per division. (for total of $30.00 in each division) Checks should be made payable to the Roamin Angels.

Mailed Entry Deadline: September 6, 2011. Submit completed entry form with fees by 5:00 p.m.
Sales: All work must be for sale. The Roamin Angels will retain 25% from all sales during the show. Prices may not be changed.

ART SHOW CALENDAR
Receiving: All entries need to be hand delivered on Friday - September 9th between 10 AM and 4 PM at the Sugar Pines building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley. Enter thru Gate 8
Note: You will need to show your show confirmation when entering the grounds.
Reception & Award Ceremony:Saturday, Sept .10th at 11:00 AM
Pick Up: Sunday, September 11th • 2:00-4:00pm
NO EARLY PICK-UP: Art not picked up by 4:00pm will be donated to the Roamin Angeles, Inc.
