Art Show Application

Purpose:
Invite artists to create fine car art that reflects the beauty of classic automobiles.
Place: Sugar Pines Building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley, CA. In conjunction with the 10th Annual Roamin Angels Cruisinʼ in the Pines Car Show - September 12 & 13, 2009.
Eligibility: All artists must deliver and pick up their artwork. Artists juried into the exhibition must exhibit the accepted piece. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility. All art must be for sale.
Rules: All work must be original, produced within the last two years. All workmust reflect pre' 1972 classic American made automobiles or pre' 72 parts. Paintings must be dry and suitably framed and wired. Wired ends must be taped. No saw-toothed hangers.
• 2-D work is not to exceed 55” in any direction, including frame.
• 3-D art size are not to exceed 24” in height and 12” per side, or width.

Awards: Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, Peoples Choice Award
Entry Procedures: All entry forms may be mailed to: RA Car Art Show, c/o Susan Barry, 15561 Wet Hill Road, Nevada City, CA 95959
Entry fees: $10.00 fee per entry. Artists may submit up to three entries. (for total of thirty dollars)
Mailed Entry Deadline: September 3, 2009 Submit completed entry form with fees by 5:00PM. Checks should be made payable to: ROAMIN ANGELS

Sales: All work must be for sale. The Roamin Angels will retain 20% fromall sales during the show. Prices may not be changed.

Receiving: Friday, September 11, 2009 • 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Sugar Pine Building, Nevada County Fairgrounds, Grass Valley. Enter thru Gate 8
Reception & Award Ceremony: Saturday, September 12 at 3 - 5 PM
Pick Up: Sunday, September 13th • 2 – 3 PM • NO EARLY PICK-UP
Art not picked up by 4PM will be donated to the Roamin Angeles, Inc.
